RetroPlay is an independent browser archive and play space created by Mahan Tavakoli(ماهان توکلی). It brings legally distributable retro games, engines and experiments into one deliberate interface—ready to play without a forced account, ad network or player upload.
The goal is to preserve the feeling of discovering old games while removing avoidable friction: each eligible world should start in the browser with its lawful free data already prepared.
02 / CURATION
Credit the builders.
Every runtime keeps an upstream source notice and license information. RetroPlay does not present commercial data as free, and it does not turn a local-file requirement into a false promise.
03 / THE FORMAT
One library, many engines.
Doom worlds belong beside strategy, puzzle, rhythm and action games when each is technically sound, respectful of its creators and genuinely playable on desktop or phone.
